Job Responsibilities:
● Develop, test, and maintain Laravel-based web applications.
● Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
● Maintain and optimize the existing codebase; fix bugs and improve performance.
● Design and implement RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and payment gateways (PayPal, Stripe, etc.).
● Collaborate with frontend developers (React.js, Alpine.js, or similar), designers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration.
● Contribute to system architecture decisions and help improve scalability and performance.
● Explore and adopt new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance development processes.
● Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and team discussions to ensure high-quality output.
● Take ownership of features from concept to deployment, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
● Collaborate on AI-powered features, automation tools, or data-driven enhancements where applicable.
Requirements:
● 2+ years of experience in PHP & Laravel development.
● Strong understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming principles.
● Proficiency in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases, including query optimization.
● Solid experience with RESTful APIs, authentication, and authorization.
● Familiarity with JavaScript and at least one frontend framework (React.js, Vue.js, Alpine.js).
● Knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
● Familiarity with queues, caching, and job scheduling in Laravel.
● Ability to write efficient Eloquent queries and work with complex database structures.
● Exposure to AI tools, automation APIs, or emerging technology trends is a plus.
● Basic understanding of DevOps principles, deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud hosting.
● Strong problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently and in a team.
● Good communication skills and willingness to participate in knowledge sharing.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
● Experience with Livewire or Filament PHP.
● Knowledge of Docker, Redis, queues, caching, and performance optimization.
● Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines.
● Experience with unit testing, TDD, and Laravel testing frameworks.
● Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development or AI API integrations.
● Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
